configurator
Configure to order
We build a configurator tailored to your needs. Consequently, we jointly manage all product variants of your distribution and control panels. The configurator is then linked to the EEC software from the drawing and planning software company EPLAN. This enables our panel builders to set to work right away after you have placed an order. Thanks to standardized processes, we have short lead times in our sales, design and manufacturing processes. This minimizes your delivery time, while maximizing quality and operational certainty.
Serial production
Make to order
Being a machine builder, you are interested in both quality and speed. We work together with you to streamline the workflow for your control panels and control cabinets. Together we complete the engineering phase, including the construction of prototypes and pilot batch. We then continually optimize the processes further. In doing so, we can rely on a highly automated approach. For example, our warehouse management system is fully integrated into our ERP. This is the best guarantee for efficient stock management and, consequently, short lead times.
Engineer to order
You demand a very high level of operational certainty for your switchboards, strong technical knowledge from your supplier and very reliable delivery performance – and rightfully so. P&V has extensive experience with various types of panels and offers every imaginable option, from universal to compartmentalized panels. P&V is the largest independent panel builder in Belgium.
Configure to order
Designing different variations of control panels in a reliable and efficient way enables clients of P&V Elektrotechniek to use a configurator. The configurator uses ECC software from EPLAN and prepares a design and all corresponding diagrams for a distribution or control panel based on the client’s specifications. The configurator itself is developed in close collaboration with the client and contains all options that can be selected in an application. The price calculation and production planning can also be linked to the configurator.
Depending on the usage, the configurator can generate up to 90% of a panel diagram.
The engineers at P&V Panels then take over to manually implement any highly specific and one-time additions if necessary. The use of the configurator not only results in a considerably efficiency boost, but also contributes to quality and continuity because designs are constructed systematically according to established lines.
Make to order
Thanks to well-organized logistics and production, P&V Elektrotechniek can offer machine builders the serial production of control panels and control cabinets.
In close partnership with the client, engineering, prototyping and a pilot batch are used to streamline the workflow, guaranteeing an efficient and reliable ‘make-to-order’ process. Lead time is one of the critical success factors in a make-to-order model.
P&V Elektrotechniek uses sophisticated planning tools and, thanks to experienced and well-organized production and logistics teams, can guarantee short and reliable lead times.
After the start-up phase, during which the engineering aspects are perfected in close collaboration with the client – including the construction of prototypes and running of a pilot batch – a permanent communication channel is established to adapt the collaboration where needed and to create a system of continuous improvement.
